This Kawai K2 Mahogany Studio was made in 2009 and lightly used. So it is nearly new and in beautiful shape. This is Kawai’s 45″ studio which comes complete with their Millennium III action. The action features carbon fiber parts that are light, fast, more resilient than wood, and highly durable. Most technicians consider this action designed by Kawai to be a significant upgrade over most comparable wood actions, and Kawai is also conscious of saving trees when possible. They have won awards for their environmental sensitivity, which is not easy for a piano company making wood pianos. And the piano sounds great. It is a small studio, possible to see over for most choir directors or ensemble players, yet plays like a small grand piano. Made in their new Karawan factory, this piano was a breakthrough in Kawai’s studio line-up. And this one features a polished mahogany finish that will enhance any room as well. Rare to find great pianos available this young in their lives!
