Here is a 5’3″ Japanese-made Yamaha Baby Grand in polished mahogany, about 30 years old and in very nice condition. Model GH1B was a highly-regarded home grand, and this one has held up very well. Researchers know that the Japanese-made grands made now go for over three times this price, and hold their value better than Yamaha models made in other countries. This piano has a nice blend of sensitivity and power, brilliance and control, with a moderately light touch. Nice find!
