Description
This Everett Brown Cherry Console was made in Michigan when American piano-making was at its peak. And Everett was one of the trade secrets of the piano world. The factory was so good at selecting woods and making pianos that Yamaha bought them out in the late 80s and used them to make Yamaha uprights for the next decade, till they build their own factory in Georgia. Solid, resonant tone and a moderately firm but responsive touch, marks of a fine American piano. This would be a perfect instrument for learning or for an intermediate player. Made in 1975, this piano has a lot of music left in it. Inlays of burled walnut mark the front panel and music desk, for added aesthetic value as well. Nice find!
