Here is a Steinway Walnut Console in very good condition, with a lovely tone. This model F upright piano is only 42″ tall, and comes in a classic walnut cabinet which was lovingly cared for. It was made in 1972, when Steinway still made the shorter uprights, and sounds fuller than expected for its size, although also quite warm and sensitive. The off-white keytops add to the classic presentation of this iconic American piano. While known for their grands, the Steinway company has made excellent uprights that are built to last for many decades. And this one should last several more before any upgrades are need to strings or hammers. For someone looking for classic American tone and quality at an affordable price, this is a great find!
