This Baldwin Classic Artist Grand is an intriguing find for a good player who wants to budget for a nice piano. Made in 1972 in Cincinnati, this 5’8″ model R was one of their earlier Artist Grands. And their Artist Grand series featured top woods, top design techniques, and top quality performance. This walnut parlor grand still performs well and moves well for a good player. And it has a powerful, yet mellow and pleasing tone that any Baldwin artist would have loved. And the rest of us struggling “artists” will find our playing enhanced as well. This is still in very good condition, despite some cabinet fading. And it will be an amazing buy for someone who would have loved to buy a $35K Artist Grand, but only budgeted a portion of that amount. Hurry!
