This slim console has a surprisingly wonderful tone, and even, responsive touch. It is made in the same factory Steinway uses for their less expensive Essex models, but here is one for considerably less. And it is made by the same people with the same knowledge, to very high standards. Lovely reddish mahogany stuns in many settings. Includes matching padded bench. This piano will satisfy a wide variety of players, for a lot less than comparable models that cost more but do not outshine it.
