Description
This classy console was made just a dozen years ago by the Korean Samick company, under the Kohler & Campbell label. These were pianos made with solid spruce soundboards, to accommodate the Steinway stores that carried them, and this one is about 47″ tall, making it more of a designer studio by size. It’s not that common to find the swirled veneer of real cherry wood with a brown tint, but with the simple lines of a traditional console that is not overly ornate. Has some burled walnut woven into the music desk too. And it is a fine piano, with a bright, full tone, and moderately easy touch. Includes matching bench. Rare for a nice used piano to be resold this quickly.
